We are a farm themed day out based in South Lanarkshire, where kids and grown-up's can play and learn together!
We have all sizes of Pedal Go-Karts, Pedal Tractors, Crazy Bikes, Sand Pit, Climbing Frame, Hay Stack, Trampolines, Jelly Bellies, our Folly Slides, Fortress & Giant 4-Lane Slide, 18 Hole Crazy Golf and the Cattle Court where you can walk above the animals pens! Plus of course our Safari Train which takes you through the fields to meet our friendly animals!
On the farm we have Highland Cows, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Horses, Donkeys, Deer, Turkeys, Chickens, Rabbits, Rhea, Llamas and Wallabies!

The Clyde Walkway Cafe is on site, serving hot drinks, hot and cold food and kids lunch boxes. It can be busy so there may be a wait for a table on busy days. Hot food served until 1 hour before closing.
Cold drinks and snacks are available in the reception.
Picnics are also welcome in our walled garden picnic area or our indoor picnic barn!

Public Transport
The closest bus stop is 'Braidwood Road Stop' in Crossford, which is a 10 - 20 minute walk away, along the Clyde Walkway.
There is a train station in Lanark. You can catch the 317 bus from there to Crossford. The 317 runs roughly every 30 mins, and takes 25 minutes.
There is also a train station in Carluke, which is a 15 minute drive away.

On average families stay 3-5 hours. 📱 Tickets should be booked online. Weekend dates are expected to sell out. Members and Prepaid ticket holders don’t need to book. If you are bringing along someone who doesn’t have a membership, they are best to be booked online. ⛳️ We have 50p tokens for golf balls or animal food. Can I buy Memberships/Annual Passes?Annual memberships can be bought at the park when you visit. This saves you money if you visit more than 5 times a year. All details are as follows; Joining fees: £70 each for an Adult or Child £56 for concessions such as Disabled/ Carer/ OAP £35 for a 2 Year Olds Up to 24 months are free *PRICES HAVE INCREASED FROM 4TH MARCH 2024 Each member will receive an individual ID card which requires a passport sized photo. (These don't have to be passport quality and can be printed off a computer) For each member visiting the park you then pay £1 per visit. Memberships are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Other terms and conditions apply. Members will also receive 8 x 20% discount vouchers to give to friends and families for the park. _____ If you have booked day tickets for the park and decide to upgrade before you leave, your ticket cost will be take off the rice of your membership. This offer is only valid if you upgrade on the day of your visit.

What are your opening times?We are open from 10am - 5pm every day! In winter from 10am - 4pm. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years day. We also close for a couple of weeks in January or February for essential park maintenance, the exact dates for this will be posted on our facebook page close to the time.

Can you feed the animals?Yes! our animals are very friendly and will come up to meet you for a snack and a head scratch! Animal food costs 1 x 50p token per cup, and is suitable for all our large animals. Animals can only be fed with the animal feed provided on the farm. Food which is not part of their normal diet can cause upset tummies and even be dangerous to animals. Do not bring your own food for the animals.

Do you allow dogs?Although we all love dogs unfortunately they cannot visit the park, as it is too stressful for the livestock to see unfamiliar dogs.

Can children visit without an adult?Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children must not be left unattended at the park - adult supervision at all times.

What age group is Clyde Valley Family Park best for?All ages! Our activities are best suited to kids between ages 2 - 12, however we also get many children younger and older than this who tell us they've had a brilliant time. Everything in the park is designed to be enjoyed by adults too, so that children can experience playing and learning with their parents!

How often does the train go?Our train goes around the park to see the animals. The first train of the day is at 11am, and runs regularly throughout the day (this will be more often on busy days). The last train of the day is 1 hour before closing. Children must be accompanied by an adult on the train.

Do you sell gift vouchers?Day ticket and annual memberships are available as vouchers to give as a gift. These can be bought over the phone or in person. Day tickets vouchers can be used any time within 1 year of purchase. Membership vouchers can be redeemed within 6 months. The membership then lasts 1 year from the date you redeem the voucher.

Do you have a discount for NHS, Blue light card, or SPRA members?NHS, Blue Light card and SPRA members receive 20% discount on day tickets with their NHS ID and/or SPRA Card or blue light card . Can I change my ticket date?Eventbrite does not allow for date changes. However in extreme circumstances we may be able to enter an Emergency request for you through their site. Please send an email with your 'Order Number' if this is the case. Tickets cannot be changed due to wet weather. On wet days remember to dress warm, wear sensible shoes and a spare pair of socks for the trampolines!

Do you do birthday parties?We currently don't have any extra activities for birthdays, but we do offer group discounts! For groups from 10-24 people you can book using the Group Rate on Eventbrite. For groups of 25 or more people please get in touch by phone or email to get the best discount. Please be aware that adults do need their own ticket and children must be supervised in all areas of the park.

Is the park wheelchair friendly? AccessibilityThe main part of the park is paved so has no issues for wheelchairs. Our education barn and fortress are upstairs and we have just opened a farm ramp through the cattle court to bring you over the animal pens and up there. The walkways to meet some of the animals are gravel paths and quite steep in places, however our Train takes you through the fields to meet the animal as well, and it has a wheelchair carriage. We do also have a mobility scooter available to book. Our accessible toilets are in the main cafe building. Our full access statement is available below.

Can you bring a buggy?Yes you can bring buggy's to the park. You are also able to pop in and out to the car park if wish to put your buggy away. Buggy's cannot be brought on the train, but there are buggy parking spaces next to the station where you can leave them (at your own risk).

Can you pay with card/cash?The reception, shop and cafe all accept both card and cash. The Estate's car parking machine also accepts both. To purchase tokens in the park (for animal food or golf balls only), there are token machines around the park which take any change, plus one in the shop which will change £10 notes to coins. We can also sell tokens in the shop via card if you have no cash.

What shoes should you wear? Footwear?The park is paved and gravel paths so any trainers or boots are fine. Perhaps wellies for wet day for any puddles! We would NOT recommend heels, sandals, dress shoes, or any footwear are clothing that you would like to keep nice. You will be running, sliding, peddling and playing! (grown-ups too!)
